Women’s HeARTS Transforming Team

Here are some of the powerful, inspiring and committed women involved in the creation and success of this event.

Nicole Miller is an artist, dancer and Expressive Arts Therapist. She envisioned Women’s HeARTS Transforming as an opportunity to share the power of expressive arts and to bring women together to create, empower and connect. This project was inspired from the transformational work of Landmark Education. She has been providing group and individual counselling and Expressive Arts Therapy since 1996. She is committed to providing opportunities for people to love themselves and to feel the freedom to express it! nicolewmiller@hotmail.com

Luna Ravenchild – Transformative Dance Facilitator, Ekstasis dance, luna@ekstasisdance.com

Anastasia Hangemanole - spends her days teaching children, practicing yoga, and trying to harness her creative energy into projects that beautify the world. She got involved in the project because she wants to help other women tap into their own creative energies.

Hetty Willeumier - Hello… My name is Hetty Willeumier (officially “Henrietta” and only used rarely). I noticed the invitation to participate with the Women’s Hearts’ Transformation on the Internet and because I had just completed both a Landmark and Search Program (underscoring personal excellence), I wanted to plunge in with my talents… in a “hands-on” way. “ART” has always figured largely in my life; being a magical process and joy-enhancer! I work with children nowadays as a private nanny and … art and music, keep us all in high and creative spirits. I, myself illustrate and write short stories and songs, as well as design writing paper and make puppets (in workshops). I have an E.C.E. diploma and enjoy “being the inspired inspiration” in the midst of children… also “expressing themselves”… in all their myriad ways. ART is truly Tran formative… “a gift one gives oneself”; witnessing it “do it’s magic” is more than a thrill… it exceeds all expectations!

Michelle Gilligan– I'm an art therapist and have the privilege of working with children and youth facing a variety of complex challenges. I weave creativity and expressive modalities into my work and my life - I'm always amazed at the resilience, healing and insight that this can bring about. I believe strongly in the importance of building a creative community to sustain, remind, empower and yes, transform myself and the incredible women I meet who are each involved in creativity and healing in their own unique ways. I'm looking forward to rekindling old connections and to making new ones at the Jan 21st event - and to the possibilities that will evolve out of that day. creativehealing@shaw.ca
